When can I receive already published PDFs?
Once a week, DEM will lock currently closed orders. This will process payments and allow backers to download all digital work already published.

Why are there no POD coupons for certain Amethyst Books?
The answer is simple. The core books (Untamed, Destiny, & Quintessence) and Factions are being rebuilt from the ground up, updated with new rules and a refined layout. Why would any of you order a physical book that will be replaced in a few months? I know at least one person will order the PODs forgetting that revised books are coming. So, until these revised books are made, the POD coupons will not be offered. When they finally get released, THEN the POD coupons will be offered for those wanting that option.

Why is VAT charged for EU and UK physical orders?
This applies to all Euro backers, and let’s be honest, you all knew about this. The UK and the EU closed the loopholes we were all using to offer “friendly” shipping. So, when you see a modern campaign with those circular stickers, they are not being truthful unless they are somehow eating the costs or doing something underhanded to circumvent costs. As we are not doing our own distribution (Bridge is), paying VAT will be unavoidable for some of you. These numbers have been entered as accurately as can be.
This was mentioned in the campaign, and if you are from the UK or Europe, this is an unfortunate unavoidable reality.

Certain rewards are not available for add-ons; is this intentional?
Yes. Some items, like digital modules for virtual table tops, can only be acquired through certain pledges. If you want a reward not offered as an add-on, consider upgrading your pledge.

Are the physical rewards print-on-demand books?
A few people asked about the difference between offset and print-on-demand (POD). Everyone receiving a PDF will also receive a POD coupon, processed through DriveThruRPG. This allows a backer to acquire a POD at a reduced price.
This POD is NOT the physical book backers receive if they pledge at physical reward levels.
The physical book rewards (both the standard and deluxe) are offset printing, not POD.
The offset books are the ones that will feature the spot-UV coating, satin bookmark, and higher-quality paper, and obviously, POD cannot offer leather books with metal corners, foil edges, and embossed logos.
It’s also important to note that the POD will be much more expensive for most people than offset. For example, the Quintessence book on DTRPG is $116 CDN compared to $79 for the physical offset book.
I am trying to keep shipping reasonable and mitigate the whole VAT issue to ensure that foreign backers can take advantage of the physical rewards and receive the higher-quality offset books.

Will NeuroSpasta or Apex a be available as an add-ons?
We are currently not offering NeuroSpasta or Apex as add-ons (outside of the DEM library reward). I was not going to really talk about it yet, but those are the subject of the next Kickstarter.

What does it mean in regards to updating Quintessence and Factions?
We are updating Quintessence content to match UM5-REDUX. We also want to make all three books consistent via layout, making all three books look the same, which will be closer to the look seen in Factions.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
